Honda has released these images of the updated 2013 Civic which will debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in a couple of weeks.
Looks have been enhanced following criticism of the all-new ninth generation Honda Civic sedan when it debuted last year.
Pursuing a sportier look to appeal to younger buyers, the revised Honda Civic gains a revised front end with re-shaped bonnet, larger grille in black honeycomb, clear lens headlights and some extra chrome.
At the rear there’s a new bootlid and bumper, new L-shaped tail-lights and an under-bumper diffuser.
New-design alloy further the sportiness.
There are no engine changes but Honda says we should expect sharper dynamics thanks to improved chassis tune.
But local Honda Civic fans shouldn’t get excited. These changes are for the North American-produced models. Honda Australia sources our Civics from the Thailand plant and no running changes are imminent.
