Audi has returned serve to the all-new and excellent Mercedes-Benz A-Class with news the all-new A3 Sportback will arrive ‘Downunder’ in May, priced from $35,600.
That price is for the Audi A3 Sportback ‘Attraction’ 1.4 TFSI 90kW S tronic – other prices haven’t been announced. Audi A3’s other petrol-powered variant will be the new 1.8 TFSI, good for 132kW while the diesel lineup will see the 76kW 1.6 TDI and 110kW 2.0 TDI.
Audi says options packages are still being developed but the popular Technik package which includes MMI Navigation and the MMI touch control system will be under $3,000.
Later this year the all-new Audi A3 lineup will be boosted by the arrival of a 1.4 TFSI engine with fuel-saving CoD (Cylinder on Demand) and a range-topping Quattro all-wheel-drive variant.
