Inside the 2012 Renault Megane scores new trim materials.
In Europe, the new Renault Megane will be available with a choice of three engines – all with auto start/stop for reduced fuel consumption.
The current 1.6-litre petrol engine is replaced by a new, more powerful direct injection 1.2-litre unit delivering 85kW/190Nm. And there are two diesels – a 1.5-litre and 1.6-litre.
Renault has also boosted the technology with available hill-start assist, reversing camera and the camera-based Visio System which delivers lane departure warning and auto high-beam for the headlights.
Megane is manufactured at Renault’s plant in Palencia, Spain.
