Renault is capitalizing on it Formula One Grand Prix involvement by debuting its limited edition Megane RS AGP limited edition at Albert Park.
Only 50 of the black hot hatchbacks are coming to Australia, priced at $49,990.
And Renault Australia is backing the sporty newcomer with a special finance rate.
“The Megane RS AGP is the ultimate package. We have ticked every box in the building of this car and anticipate very strong customer demand. To celebrate the vehicle’s launch we are launching with a 3.8 per cent finance rate,” revealed Justin Hocevar, Renault Australia boss.
Finished in gloss black paint, amongst its extras, the Renault Megane RS AGP scores matching gloss black 19-inch alloy wheels from the European Megane RS 250 Trophy (with high performance Bridgestone RE050A tyres), Bi-xenon directional headlights and front/rear parking sensors and Brembo brakes with red calipers.
Inside are Renault Sport Recaro seats, a fixed glass roof and satellite navigation.
As part of its launch spectacular, a Renault Megane RS AGP will race Renault’s Jet Pack Man around the Albert Park circuit to kick-off Grand Prix week.
