Closely following last month’s changes for the Nissan Navara D40 (see our test drive story), Nissan has announced further 2012 improvements for its hot-selling ute – highlighted by a new 2WD ST Dual Cab diesel.
The new Nissan Navara ST Dual Cab 2WD has more grunt and is more fuel-efficient than the RX model. The new 2.5-litre turbo-diesel delivers 120kW/403Nm but combined cycle fuel consumption is down to 8.3l/100kms.
ST Navara also gains 17-inch alloy wheels, side steps, rear child restraint anchorages, six airbags, 60/40-split rear seat and dual-zone climate control air-conditioning.
For the RX Navara, 2012 changes include vinyl floor covering and body-colour, electrically-controlled exterior mirrors.
Pricing for the Nissan Navara starts at $36,100.
