2012 Liberty Range Updated

Always on the front foot when it comes to safety, Subaru has introduced a standard reversing camera in every 2012 model Liberty. However the new range maintains the same starting price of $32,990.

And that entry-level model (2.5i) looks very impressive for 2012 with the addition of leather seats, a 4.3-inch LCD screen for the audio and reversing camera, rear air vents, USB connection and eight-way electronic adjustment for the driver’s seat.

Subaru Liberty Premium and Sports Premium score factory-fitted satellite navigation (and the reversing camera).

Subaru had already announced the Australian 2012 Liberty will be the first outside Japan to gain the innovative Subaru ‘Eyesight’ system – tiny cameras mounted near the rear-view mirror to assist drivers in avoiding frontal collisions, lane drifting and low speed impacts. The cameras drive other systems: Pre-Crash Braking, Pre-Crash Brake Assist, Pre-Collision Throttle Management, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Vehicle Sway Warning and Lead Vehicle Start Alert.
