Here’s the news ‘hot hatch’ enthusiasts have been waiting for – the racy RS version of Ford’s just-launched Focus lineup will break cover next month in Germany at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Ford Australia executives were non-committal about local plans for the RS at this week’s launch of the Focus range in Melbourne, however there seems little doubt the high-performance range-topper will head ‘Downunder’ sometime next year.

The previous generation Focus RS was imported in very low numbers, and was priced at $59,990, but was easily one of the best cars Car Showroom tested in 2010.
Also on the Ford agenda in Frankfurt is a new concept vehicle.
