Iconic American brand Jeep brings a fresh new entrant to the local compact SUV market late this year with the launch of the all-new Compass model range.
Apart from confirming its late-2011 ‘Downunder’ launch, Jeep Australia is still working on exact local specifications and pricing.
Looks are impressive. Clearly contemporary and with unmistakable cues from the range-topping Grand Cherokee model, the all-new Jeep Compass will fill a void for the American giant in the hot-selling compact SUV segment.
Jeep says the all-new model will bring previously unheard of levels of luxury, technology and safety to the Compass nameplate – quality materials and soft-touch feel to the interior, standard stability control and roll mitigation, side-curtain airbags for all passenger rows and upgraded ride and handling.
This year celebrates Jeep’s 70th anniversary.
