British fleet magazine Business Car has awarded its Best Car Safety System to the Ford Focus Driver Assist Pack.
Using radar technology to monitor blind spots, lane-keeping and obstacles ahead to prevent low-speed ‘rear-enders’ plus a monitor for driver drowsiness, the Driver Assist Pack is ideal for the millions of fleet cars used on British roads.
“Ford’s Driver Assist Pack is an option which enables companies to prioritize further the safety of their employees while also minimizing running costs,” explained Ford Britain’s Kevin Griffin. “Just as parking sensors limit repairs, the technology behind this new pack will do the same for new Ford Focus drivers in a wider variety of situations on the road.”
