Price reductions of up to $2,200 and introduction of Electronic Stability Program (ESP) across the range herald 2010 changes for Peugeot.

The 207 range - including the new 207 Touring Outdoor wagon - has been lopped by $500 and now starts at $21,990 for the XR five-door.

Peugeot's most popular car - the 308 hatchback - has been severed by $2,200 and now kicks-off at $24,990 for the XS 1.6-litre manual. The exception is the XS 1.6-litre HDi diesel which decreases by $1,700 to $28,990.

Prices are down too for the 308 Touring which now starts at $29,990.

Open top style is also part of the price-cutting picture with the 308CC now starting at $47,490.

The 407 is now only available as an automatic and starts at $40,990. Sadly the potent twin-turbo V6 diesel is no longer available (although some stocks of '09 models can still be found in dealerships).

And the newly introduced 4007 SUV now starts at $44,490.
