2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS Now In Right Hand Drive

Gympie, Queensland-based Performax International has launched its right-hand-drive version of the hot Chevrolet Camaro 2SS, priced at $135,000.

Performax is Australia’s leading independent importer of American passenger vehicles and offers the Camaro with full Australian Design Rule certification.

Under the bonnet is GM’s LS3 6.2-litre V8 with 318kW of power and driving the rear wheels via a Tremec six-speed manual transmission. Also available is a version with the six-speed automatic and L99 V8 offering 299kW of power with Active Fuel Management for reduced petrol consumption.

A modern re-take of the classic Camaro muscle car, the new General Motors version is fully equipped with Electronic Stability Control/Traction Control, Brembo high performance disc brakes, leather seats, cruise control, a nine-speaker audio system plus front, side and curtain airbags.

Performax uses CAD-CAD design and 3D component prototyping to deliver high quality engineering and has completed thousands of right-hand-drive conversions over the last 20 years.
