The wait is nearly over for sports car fans and Jaguar enthusiasts with Australian pricing announced for the stunning all-new F-TYPE – Jaguar’s first fair-dinkum sports car for more than 50 years.
Jaguar Australia has confirmed a three-model lineup, starting at $139,000.
Entry-level is the F-TYPE powered by a 250kW version of the 3.0-litre supercharged V6 petrol engine.
Next-up is the F-TYPE S which gains 30 extra kilowatts, 19-inch alloy wheels, adaptive dynamics, an ‘Active’ exhaust system with centre-mounted twin tailpipes, a limited slip differential and dark aluminium for the interior console.
Headlining the Jaguar F-TYPE range is the V8 S with Jaguar’s sublime 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine, good for 364kW and zero to 100km/h in just 4.3 seconds. The V8 S scores 20-inch alloy wheels, quad exhaust pipes, an electronic active differential and configurable interior ambient lighting with a range of colours.
