This model Landcruiser is big, gutsy and expensive. Having had 7 cruisers I still rate the 80 series above them all and I wish I could buy a new one. The 200 still suffers duck disease in the springs after 100Kms or less if heavy loads are towed. The new engine still seems less than efficient especially around town, Compared to my ML Merc its old technology. The interior is still rather agricultural again compared to the refinement of the Merc. But for towing and around the farm the cruiser (once HD springs are fitted) is hard to beat. I do hate the auto gearbox (drops between 5 and 6 under loads at 110KM/Hr) and I have seriously contemplated installing a manual gearbox Locking the box out is a poor option. Why I can't buy a 6 speed manual frustrates me. Overal if you want a good towing vehicle this is it. But value for money and durability is fast declining in the Landcruiser range. Unless things improve this may be my last cruiser so consider wisely.

does it tow 3.5 tonne caravan with ease,from melbourne to Karumba/Cooktown and return, the one and only,all in one,and with 4 x 4 , value for money.

A little thirsty on highway runs ,uses more fuel on highway runs, also uses oil,once capped services have finished the services are over 1000 dollars.
