2024 GREAT WALL X200

I have owned my Great Wall X200 for almost two years. It has well exceeded my expectations. Its great on fuel 8.5L/100km down to 7L/100Km with steady Highway driving. Yes I have had some minor issues; turbo hose, broken key and central locking, however was all fixed under warranty no questions asked.Other than that the car is very reliable and have driven a full car load with a 5m boat in tow up and down the coast multiple times without a worry or hickup. I would recommend this car without hesitation to anyone, it is reasonably priced and jam packed with features. I Pos Good price/Reliable/Luxurious/Plenty of room and easy accessible under the hood for DIY maintenance/Heaps of room/Good on fuel/Plenty of power/6 gears Neg Turbo lag (learn to handle it)/Genuine Brake pads are very dusty and wear quickly (would recommend changing these to a good quality aftermarket one as soon as possible to keep your rims free from brake dust)

I purchased my Great Wall X200 in July 2014. I had been checking out all of the medium/small suv's as well as test driving these vehicles and although some of these vehicles had better write up's as well as much higher costs, the x200 held it's own in comfort and finish. It also offered all the the equipment desired along with a 2ltr turbo fuel injected disel motor which was requred for towing my van. The other vehicles all cost more than $12, 000 over the Great Wall and that was without a disel motor option. Most people I spoke to regarding the X200 said not to buy one, but than they did not own one, all those who owned one said that they were happy with their purchase, stating that they only had minor problems that were fix by the dealership. So I went ahead with the purchase with low expectations, but these expectations have been exceeded many times over. The vehicle has had a couple of problems, the roof rack rails had buckeled and door handle (inside) had to be replaced, all done under warranty, no problems at all. We have just returned from a trip to Alice Springs, no problems at all and we averaged 12.6ltr per 100 k's towing a Jayco Penguin fully loaded. Covered 7000 k's on the trip and am still very happy with the Great Wall and would recommend to anyone as excellent value for money. Well done Great Wall. Shea
